Their feelings and behaviors are a response to their social environment.
That means they are responding to who you are and the type of relationship you have with each other.
If you were to move into a new house, your dog would adapt and learn how to function within that new environment.
Likewise, when you change as a person (for better or worse), your dog adapts to the person you become.
You (the person your dog depends on for their survival) are the most important factor for how your dog shows up in the world.
Their growth and happiness are entirely dependent on who you are as a person and the way you design their life.
So when you think your dog is being "bad" or "misbehaving", just remember that you are their biggest influence. They are responded to the life you've created for them.
So instead of blaming them and punishing them, work on becoming a better you and a better leader for your dog.
